Save the Sound presented us with a challenge: to integrate local Connecticut businesses into their mission of supporting the Covid-affected economy while amplifying awareness for their nonprofit cause. Our spotlight fell upon The Boat Wash, an emerging enterprise renowned for its same-day boat cleaning services. Their commitment to sustainability resonated deeply: eco-friendly equipment, biodegradable soaps, and safeguarding the water ecosystem. Inspired by the concept of a car wash fundraiser, we devised a groundbreaking "boat-wash" event, uniting both organizations in a common cause. In addition to boat washing stretching around the marina, live music, food and more, this initiative featured ten local businesses, offering games and prizes ranging from luxurious hotel stays to golf lessons. The outcome surpassed all expectations and was one of the most successful single-day fundraisers in their history. Delepine Creative was thrilled to be part of this transformative endeavor, illuminating the power of collaboration and community spirit in driving positive change.
